Im with zach on this one... The only argyle ive ever liked was from last year's Fall Lacoste line... This thread is turning into "Lets talk fashion."

Its great actually, I think an open and honest forum on fashion dos and donts is needed in mock trial currently....   :p

Have a 6'2 Tyler Perry on the stand with earrings looking like he just stepped out of a GQ magazine. I swear during our round with ya'll I was like,

"Damn. . .he looks stylish, but GUILTY AS HELL!" Tell him to take out the ear-rings next time.

LOL... yah...he always forgot to take out the earrings, and of course, i usually didnt notice until the round began, at which point I can do nothing about it...

And, hes 6'5" not 6'2" ... we didnt normally call perry, bc, huge strong guy who looks like he could sprint up 3 flights of stairs with a  few children slung over his shoulder.... he does look pretty guilty... But "GQ" is high praise! Ill pass it along to Evan!

We were laughing about that after the match. We told Taurean (Bailey) that his Direct should've went like this:

Edward: Bailey, can you identify Tyler Perry?
Taurean: Yeah, that big guy behind me!

I played Bailey and on cross examination a team actually asked me: Bailey, you ate dinner that night, right?  I thought it was so ridiculous I didn't know whether to respond.

Hello Harry, what sort of tomfoolery shall we get up to today?  No tomfoolery today, Ron.

Columbia was going defense, and I was playing a very sweet southern little Tyler Perry, and on the Prosecution's direct of Gustavo, his response to "How do you know the Defendant" was: "Tyler and I toured around the country with Aerosmith, and let's just say, what happens on tour, stays on tour"-- complete with disgusting facial leering in my direction. Needless to say I was totally mortified and made sort of shocked face. After the round, my coach said that I had a good reaction... I was like "that wasn't acting!"

Quote from: Herb

At regionals, someone on our other teams stood up and said "Objection, this statement is a fabrication which has no basis in any tangent of reality"

The objection was sustained without argument.

I would like to point out that the actual objection was, "Your Honor, that statement is a fabrication of the truth that has no basis in any tangent reality."

This minor difference in the objection is important, as the actual objection implied the existence of many other realities and parallel universes.

At the Crieghton invit, our defense lawyers got a Bailey to basically say she and Peyton were lovers and they faked the kidnapping together.

I nearly lost it and started laughing.
Be it impossible or absurd, we continue to follow the path of true men
