if this is a measure of racism, i am racist against whites.  this was quite the interesting exersize though, even though i dont think it accuratly measures racism at all.  maybe the most intersting thing about this was seeing how many innocent people would be shot regardless of race. 

Just imagine yelling "cease and desist" before each person, and still having that image appear anyways. Poor Conmey.

i mean i shot whites faster than blacks every time...  i dont think this thing is a good measure of racism though.

Well I don't think it's a good measure of it either, because when you're playing, (at least for me) you train yourself to look directly at their hand.  Bottom line is, in the real world, split second decision making is hard, and it all depends on the circumstances, so while it is an interesting game, it's not really the most realistic in terms of a simulation for what police officers have to go through.

Mos Def, I don't mean to use another person's words to make my argument, but the previous post does so very well. I think what is interesting about this game is that you end up focusing on one particular component of the scenario- the suspects hands. This is not a luxury afforded to real officers, and it's difficult to say whether this gauged your tendencies to shoot a black or white suspect.

The game was good intentions, but it's executions falsifies its results in regards to those intentions.

I think you misunderstood me.  I do not disagree with anything that you or nonsensicle said.  I really don't. 

I wasn't pointing the finger. I just thought the first post was a little muddled and I didn't quite get it.
