Well, I have only been on Perjuries for about a month now and I am feeling withdrawal with the lack of posts lately.

Given the popularity of the Arizona invitationals and some other creatively named invitationals, I figured I would pose a question to everyone: What would be the greatest name for an invitational anywhere?

I know that someone mentioned tha anything with the word "Showndown" is tempting but I am curious as to see what the greatest minds in mock trial can come up with to amuse ourselves.

I think we need a survey about the current invitational titles.

Thanks for the love Sam. In Love

I personally like the Beach Party and Revolution.

And I like the use of Acronyms for GAMTI and the BRIC(insert roman numeral here).

Too bad I can only vote thrice Sad

The greatest name for an invitational anywhere in AMTA is quite obviously the 3rd Annual Southeastern Invitational hosted by UCF. These are some stand up mockers with a quality program that puts on a quality tournament.

Agreed. It's really the "3rd Annual" that does it for me.  Roll Eyes

That is more Freudian that I can begin to explain. But I don't think I have to.

If we (Tufts) ever host one, I desperately want to call it the "Mumbo Jumbo."
