Jeff Goodman must be on the East list - 19 and some odd individual awards and a couple double all-american awards.

Of course. Just use your judgement... Ohio is east, Iowa is west, things like that.

Never really thought of everything west of the Mississippi as a west-coast state, but whatever.  Wink

I actually think there should be an "all-flyover" region.

Opener- Claire Devine
Middle- Laurn Emmanuelson
Closer- Joe Carlasare

Wit 1 (Character)- Sam Bliss
Wit 2 (Expert)- Emily Lorino
Wit 3 (Cleanup, Misc.)- Michael Kilgarriff

This is my first draft of the team. I'll probably update it as I put more thought into it.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

yeah gonna have to go with the switch of Claire for Justin Smith or Emily for Tim Collins as the cop/Military/or Egotistical Medical Administration official.

I have returned.  I would also note that you need to go much further back to really hit the "golden age" of mock trial during the time of the early 00's.  The greats from Iowa, Rhodes, Bellarmine.

UVA, USC and Harvard are the new kids on the block on this one.  They may be good, but they aren't the "legends."
