KfN and his Pilots are here. My understanding is that ours is one of several programs that brought extra students. My newcomer squad (not competing) is with us to observe and learn.
For those worried about scouting, rest assured that I have warned them against conveying any information about particular teams, etc. to our competing squad. Not that scouting is prohibited, but I'm aware of the strong reactions that concept provokes in some mockers. We simply wanted these new mockers to have the chance to watch how some good teams do things, as a way to get them up to speed. If you have concerns, track me down this weekend and we'll talk. Also let me know if you have extras who might be interested in scrimmaging.
While we are at it, keep an eye out for our new educator coach, Prof. Bill Curtis. He started helping last year, and has been a fantastic addition to the program. His academic credentials are stellar, with his BA, MA, JD, and PhD from Dartmouth, Stanford, Hastings, and Duke respectively.
Good luck to all. It looks like the folks here are putting on another great event.
Cheers,
Steven
