Mockers,

The University of Massachusetts is tentatively holding an invite the weekend of January 30th-31st: The 1st Annual Minuteman Invitational at Amherst.

Low registration fee of ~$95.00 & a nice alternative if you're in the northeast region and are unable to attend Cornell's invite around the same time...

Also a great opportunity if you're not from our region & are looking to tune-up before regionals without showing your hand to your own area teams. :gavel:

This would be a Saturday/Sunday tourney...no Friday night rounds.

Hotel accommodations are available both on and around our Amherst, Massachusetts campus, where the tournament will be held.

More details forthcoming...At this point, we're initially gauging interest of other schools as well as confirming with AMTA whether or not any regionals will be held as early as that weekend.

10 slots remain open as of this posting.

Let us know ASAP via email if your school is interested, as starting this weekend we'll be personally inviting/recruiting teams we're facing at our 3 upcoming fall invitationals (Harvard's Crimson Classic, The Guardian and UNH's invite)

Contact info: team captains Joe Mendes, Holly Galvin and David Chen, umassmocktrial@yahoo.com

We'll be occasionally updating this thread with names of participating schools as we receive them, (unless school requests confidentiality), so prospective participants can get an idea of the competitive field.
