Incorrect. Adaptation, according to the Oxford Dictionary of Science, is "any change in the structure or functioning of an organism that makes it better suited to its environment." Evolution is a specific type of adaptation: the change of life over time due to genetic mutation + naturalistic pressures. This process can occur extremely quickly, and that is why bacteria and viruses are such excellent examples of evolution, as they can reproduce multiple times in very short time periods (allowing for billions of genetic mutations) and outpace the effect of a drug or change of temperature or whatever else you throw at them (naturalistic pressures). Bacteria and viruses can evolve along several paths within mere hours.

Again there is no such thing as evolution.  Humans were never monkeys.  We did not all "evolve" from fucking bacteria.  People claim evolution as science.  Science is defined as: systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation.  evolution has never been done by either.  evolution does not exsists[/color][/size]

Ok, let's try this another way. I assume you'll concede that humans, in their present form, did not roam the earth with dinosaurs (which I hope you'll concede existed even though we can't observe or experiment with them  :rolleyes: ). If you'll agree with both of those premises, I'm curious how you explain how humans got here. Pure creation? Where's the "observation and experimentation" for that? Hey, I'm religious, but I'm not an idiot.
