Ummm... SLU takes all 8 spots. That's not commentary or a prediction. Fact.

I'd really like to see Air Force take this regional. Every time I have hit Air Force, they have beaten my expectations, yet they never seem to get a whole lot of credit on perjuries. Their attorneys always know what's up and they always have at least one witness that I love. Do it Air Force!

I recall facing Air Force three years ago at an invitational at the Coast Guard academy.  Great round with a bunch of class act individuals.  Good luck to everyone in this regional.  With that said, Go Air Force!

Yikes, Rhodes A missed by one point from a +14/-1 round 1 split.

We still pulled a 5-3 after that split and a well played round in which wash u took 2 from us, but starting off 1-3 doesn't do the CS any favors.  Hopefully either our C team will secure a 2nd bid from louisville or we can catch an open bid.

Congrats to everyone who qualified out and thanks to Columbia College/Mizzou and the AMTA reps for a very smoothly run tournament.

Stras, from my understanding, the way the open bids work 5-3 is almost guaranteed an open bid. But as your C team qualified I guess Rhodes doesn't really have to worry eh? Congrats to you guys either way.

Let's talk about the real shocker...I'm with the Memphis Mock Trial team (a public school, sometimes referred to as Tiger High) and no one expected us to make the top eight. Here we come st louis! and thanks to Columbia for great and well run mock trial experience as well as my first witness award!

I competed against Memphis at Nationals my first year in mock trial (we wore togas and used slate and chalk for demonstratives). I was helping to timekeep and was told by the captain of the Memphis team that I would have to keep time for both b/c their timekeeper suffered from narcolepsy.

EDIT for bad typing.

sounds hilarious, this is my first year, though we do need help timekeeping sometimes as we only have 6 team members

So you have a witness time for you.  This is what 99% of teams with 6 members do.
