Current weather predictions have a slow moving, blizzard-like storm passing through the Mid-Atlantic beginning tonight and persisting until Friday morning/afternoon. This will very likely affect travel plans and the ability of some teams to make it to Princeton as there could be ice, sleet, snow drifts, etc.

Is anyone else concerned about their team's ability to travel safely? What would AMTA do if they have to cancel/reschedule this tournament? It's already one of the last regionals to go.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we're all sick of this damn snow...

It would be nearly impossible for the regional tournament director if AMTA should choose to reschedule this tournament. The person in charge would then have to search for judges within the week for the new date. The bigger concern may be Jamaica, I believe teams from Jamaica compete on Friday.

I noticed Drexel hasn't taken a lot of votes. Has anyone gone against them? My team met their coach at Fordham and he seemed like a really knowledgeable guy. His comments/feedback were the only useful comments we heard from both Fordham and our regional (New Haven).

Penn State takes it, 8-0!! Not sure about the other 7 though.

I'm loving the fact that Penn State A and B will be looking in from the outside on Penn State C (8-0, Syracuse) and Penn State D (8-0 Princeton) compete at ORCS. Hopefully the beginnings of a deep program in Happy Valley  :D

I know that Georgetown A went 8-0 and Georgetown B went 6-1-1 (both getting bids).  No idea about anything else.

Like your name. Last year that was our team song. There was this not-very-team-compatible person in our program that finally left midway through the year, see.

I believe they also hit Maryland and Princeton? I'm saying "believe" sarcastically because I know they did, because I also checked the tab summary that is available to everyone.

I would enjoy knowing the affiliations of posters who post fake congrats to teams after they perform superbly at tournaments. I know that I can't help but read through tab summaries and say, "this team had an easier run than this one" or "what an easy way to start a tournament" or "they got lucky that they didn't hit this team."

But I know that I would never make a post like this, which carries no point, but merely repeats information that is already available to anyone who can navigate AMTA's website and read English, on a forum in an attempt to besmirch a team's performance.
