Things to be learned from this thread:
1) Jokes should not be rude
2) People need to understand that not everything they say is funny
3) Colin will understand everything when he grows up and enters the real world ;)

Come on now. I am proud to say that I am in no way affiliated with Penn, but I have to admit that the Buck jokes are pretty funny. Lets all remember that jokes are not meant to be taken seriously. We all know Buck was a baller, even if he was 42.

I would like to clarify that BJV is, and always will be, a baller.

This is all.

I wish all of the schools attending White Plains the best of luck. Have a great time and I am sure the level of professionalism the majority of you will show this weekend will overshadow the lack of professionalism that plagues the few on this message board who can't take that very important lesson from this activity.

False.  Everything I say and write is funny.  And humble.  And not delirious.  That is all.

Obviously. But that's also why you're not in the general "people" category. You're in a league of your own Gelf!

I guess I'm coming in on this late, but I'd advise the students making negative posts (and developing a poor reputation now) to not underestimate this. The person you are now, is likely to be all too similar to the person you are in law school.  And when you develop your reputation there, it's almost impossible to change.

Just my opinion though, I'm sure many would disagree with me. But I'd advise you all to take this under consideration. Also, I never competed against Buck, but I met him in Des Moines at Nationals last year, and he seemed like a great, entirely undeserving of petty jokes made at his expense.

At least no one called Buck a clown; perjuries couldn't handle two lawyers riding through the discussion boards on miniature tricycles.

In retrospect calling Fuller a clown was a bad idea and it is now obvious just how damaging this has been to his mental and emotional health.

We at UCLA actually really appreciate that Fuller was called a clown.  We're pretty sure that Peter's sole driving force this year has been to prove to the mock trial world that he is not in fact a clown.  Its been paying off pretty well thus far.  So, Thank You!!!

You have no idea...every night i wake up in a cold sweat, clutching my tricycle and vowing to make the world laugh...at something other than me... :pajamas:

And for the sake of relevance... my prediction is

1. NYU A
2. NYU B
3. Georgetown A
4. Cornell A
5. Columbia A
6. Maryland A

Just realized someone just posted those same teams as winners of the poll. Does that make my predictions unoriginal? Maybe. Do Koalas have pouches where they shelter their adorable young? Most certainly.

URGENT NOTE -  a large tree and several power lines have fallen, blocking the entrance to Pace Law School.  Accordingly, you will need to use the back entrance tomorrow morning.   Here are directions to Pace back lots:

IF PACE LAW SCHOOL IS ON YOUR LEFT (ie. coming from I287):
Proceed past Pace Law School.
At the second light, make a left turn onto LAKE STREET
Make a left turn onto N. KENSICO AVENUE
N. KENSICO AVENUE become ROSS STREET
Immediately after N. KENSICO becomes ROSS STREET, you will see a open gate and a parking lot on your RIGHT.
Turn into the lot and follow all the way down to the end.  You will see Pace Law School's parking garage.

IF PACE LAW SCHOOL IS ON YOUR RIGHT (ie. coming from downtown White Plains):
Approximately two traffic lights before Pace Law School, make a right onto LAKE STREET.  This is the last right turn before passing Pace Law School
Make a left turn onto N. KENSICO AVENUE
N. KENSICO AVENUE become ROSS STREET
Immediately after N. KENSICO becomes ROSS STREET, you will see a open gate and a parking lot on your RIGHT.
