    Best Attorneys

Who are the best three attorneys you've seen this season (from a school other than your own)?

With so many negative discussions recently, it would be nice to say something nice for a change!

I will go first: Blackwell from GW, Shabib from Cornell, and Holt from Michigan.

    This Year?
    Cameron Linder from Air Force
    James Tsuei from UCLA

    Past years:
    J'me Forrest from Berkeley
    Forrest Smith from Gonzaga

There are many more but I'll limit it to this since most of the others have graduated by now.

I'll second Blackwell. Hit his GW team early in the year at Richmond, and was impressed as always. I'd also have to say, just from the teams we've hit/scrimmaged, Shoyeb Siddique and Justin Matarrese of NYU are both top-notch.

Small sample for me, but I'd probably have to say Alex Papulis from WashU.

Since I obviously don't follow directions (as you so aptly pointed out), that's a good example of what makes Amber Lee's performances so much better - she has to carry my n00b dead weight around in the courtroom.

Top 3 I've seen this year in no particular order:
    Hiro Tanaka from Brown
    Karen Alunkal from BU
Cameron Linder from Air Force (he was already awesome when they took us apart at Coast Guard back in October)
Superhuman effort isn't worth a damn unless it achieves results.

The best I have faced in competition, in no particular order would be:

this kid from Princeton who was a dead ringer for Willem Defoe, we went up against him at the Crimson Classic at Harvard, and the judge gave him more time on his closing. I have never been more pleased with a judge's decision that went against my team.

Wake Forest's "A" team closer, Tara I believe her name is, the fact that she worked erasing everything I wrote on our demonstrative was as effective as it was annoying, which is to say it was very effective.

The last spot would go to whichever attorney crosses Sal Dritz from the Georgia team that won the Willis Wichard Invitational. His Dritz cross, at least when he went against us was amazing.

    Re: Best Attorneys

Brandon Harper (although I haven't actually seem him compete as an attorney yet, only as a witness twice, but I've heard the reviews and can see how he's one of the best)

Cliff Smith from WashU- very smooth, calm, and well-spoken; in addition to great knowledge, of course

John Robinson from Yale was also very talented.

Ok, if originalvagabond isn't going to get to nominate Amber Lee, then I will.

PS: my own nominations surprise me. But thanks, i'm flattered.

    Kyle Kleckner from UCLA; and

    Kaitlyn Evans from Iowa.

I dint know the names or anything but: The closer for Furman- big guy
And the girl closer for UVA are both pretty darn good. Especially since they are surrounded by talent.

I'm guessing you mean Matt Kuhn from Furman, and Ryann Burke from UVa. Both very worthy nominations.

I too would nominate Ms. Lee. I saw her demolish a team's Micah Campbell.
But also, in no specific order, Brandon Harper and Kristina Winkler. All solid. :gavel:
    This is my clever signature.
